This policy covers AI Connector, a private QuickBooks Online integration operated by NetVision Inc ("we", "us") for its own accounting records. AI Connector has a single user organization: NetVision Inc. It does not serve outside customers and does not process anyone else's financial data.
What we access
With authorization granted through Intuit's OAuth flow, AI Connector can read and write accounting data in the connected QuickBooks Online company — customers, vendors, employees, invoices, bills, expenses, payments, journal entries, the chart of accounts, attachments, and the standard financial reports. It requests thecom.intuit.quickbooks.accounting scope and nothing beyond it.
We never receive or store an Intuit username or password. Authentication is handled by Intuit; we hold only the OAuth access and refresh tokens Intuit issues.
Where the data goes
- QuickBooks data is requested on demand and used to answer the operator's question or carry out the change they asked for.
- Requests are made directly between the NetVision Inc workstation and Intuit's API. There is no intermediate server of ours.
- The content of a request may be processed by the AI model provider powering the assistant, solely to produce the response. It is not used to train models.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade QuickBooks data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own purposes.
Storage and retention
OAuth tokens are stored on the local workstation with filesystem permissions restricting them to the operating user. Accounting records are not copied into a separate database; anything retained locally is a working file kept only as long as the task requires and deleted afterward. QuickBooks remains the system of record.
Security
- All traffic to Intuit uses TLS.
- Tokens live outside version control and are excluded from backups that leave the machine unencrypted.
- Access is limited to NetVision Inc personnel who administer the company's books.
- Refresh tokens rotate on Intuit's schedule; a revoked connection stops working immediately.
Revoking access
Access can be withdrawn at any time from the QuickBooks Online app settings, or by following the steps on the disconnect page. Once revoked, stored tokens are invalid and are deleted from the workstation.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new date. Because the integration has a single user organization, material changes are communicated internally rather than by broadcast notice.
